About the Artist

“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more”

- Lord Byron

T.S. Loggins is a multi-disciplinary creative with an interest in nature, animals, sea creature, the gothic, and people in general. She blends her general interests with a wide array of skills, ranging from working with textiles to sculpting to basketry to drawing and painting.

There was a time when the things one owned were usually handmade and bought sparingly, when the quality of an item mattered, and the things we owned were both beautiful and functional. T.S. finds these skills, whether traditional or new, to be the best way to reconnect with this idea.

Belladonna Non Grata was born of these intersecting interests: the desire to make beautiful things, inspired by nature and death, that can also be useful. Everything produced on this site is handmade, and hopefully inspires a reverence for nature and functionality. The lone exception, at this juncture, are any prints of art pieces by T.S.
